RAMSBOTTOM United dropped two points in a game they should have wrapped up by half time at Squires Gate.
Dominating the game from the first whistle the Rams squandered half a dozen chances in the opening 35 minutes before going a goal behind when Steve Hornby put the home side in front.
The equaliser came ten minutes into the second half with Martin Hulme scoring from close range.
Further chances went begging and the Rams had only themselves to blame for not getting the win that would have put them three points behind leaders Castleton Gabriels with a game in hand.
On Saturday the Rams entertain Gabriels in the first round of the Second Division Cup (kick off 3pm).
