SIR: After reading many letters regarding the name of Bolton Wanderers new stadium, I feel I have to write with what are the feelings of many fans.

Bolton Wanderers want to, and need to, compete with the top clubs in the country. To achieve these ambitions takes money and lots of it. Sponsorship is an ideal opportunity to achieve these goals.

The financial benefits that can be achieved from this new stadium are beyond belief. Let's not lose this great opportunity to give Bolton Wanderers a great start in what will be their new home for a number of years to come.

In my opinion Reebok would be an ideal and obvious choice (The Reebok Stadium) with their connections and what they have done already to support the club.

I do agree that Nat Lofthouse is a great ambassador for the club and that his name should be involved in the new stadium, so why not name one of the stands after him, as Preston have done with the Albert Finney Stand.

Surely this would keep everybody happy.
