THERE is only one Premier Division fixture for this Saturday in the Bolton Combination due to the 1st round of the Lancashire ADIDAS Amateur Shield taking place and that's Blackrod Town entertaining Ambassadors.

Poor Town have yet to register a point six games after promotion to the Prem and will not find it easy at home to an Ambassadors side that has picked up well after a poor start.

Division 2 stages the "Comb" Match of the Day with the clash of two sides with 100 per cent records. Something will have to give as Walkden AFC Reserves entertain free-scoring Atherton S & S.

The tough away trip of unbeaten Division 1 leaders Kersal Vale to Tottington United will be of as much interest to second-placed Mitchell Shackleton as their relatively easy looking home meetings with third from bottom Brindle Heath Lads Club. Turton are lurking back in sixth place but only by way of having played less games than everyone else. Still unbeaten after four outings, they could begin to make an impact on the top group with Hindley Green Reserves the visitors to Longsight Park.
