A LEIGH business which specialises in golf publications is under starter's orders for a move into horse racing.
Tee Off Associates, run by Graeme Lowe and Peter Nixon in Lord Street, Leigh, produces 52-page tee to green course guides for golf clubs.
They announced today that subsidiary PG Publications has won the contract to supply Aintree Racecourse with a fence guide for the 1997 Martell Grand National to be run in April.
The glossy guide to the 150th National will feature individual layouts of today's fences and visual comparisons with those from the first race in 1839.
It will include facts and figures about the National and editorials by Reg Green, an authority on the world-famous race.
"Because of the limited production it should become a collector's item," Mr Lowe said today.
The company says it is seeking high quality sales personnel for business expansion.
