BOLTON County flew the Bolton Boys Federation flag into the next round of the prestigious Lancashire FA Under 16s Youth Cup.
They won the all Federation tie 3-1 against Boundary Park Juniors with a brace from Ryan Cain and a goal for Guy Hampson.
In the Under 16s league games Bromley Cross won 7-2 away at Astley Bridge thanks mainly to a hat-trick from Peter Woodcock and AFC Bolton were too strong for St Elizabeth's and rattled up a 6-0 away win.
In the Under 18s Section A Leigh RMI picked up two points when they won 3-1 at home to Blackrod Town. The sides were level at half time 1-1 before substitute Clint McLoughlin coming on and grabbing two goals to secure the points for his team.
In the Under 18s game at Ladybridge there was an incredible scoreline with Ladybridge eventually losing 7-5 to Atherton Collieries. In the Under 15s Section A Leigh RMI continued their good run with a 2-1 away victory at Dean Sports with goals for Beazley and Dawber.
In the Under 15s Section B Ladybridge went on a goalscoring spree away to Oxford Grove, winning 8-2 with a hat-trick for Flannagan. Westhoughton Rangers B won 4-0 at home to Astley Bridge but their A team came off the rails when they were beaten away at Fife Rovers 4-1.
In the Under 14s Section top scorers of the day were Dean Youth Club who won 9-3 at Bromley Cross with A Lundy scoring four times.
Bolton Lads Club continue to look good after winning away 6-3 at Hindley Juniors. AFC Bolton also won 6-0 at Westhoughton Rangers.
In the Under 12s Junior Section, Walshaw Sports and St Elizabeth's played out a high-scoring game which saw Walshaw grab a 9-4 win. Freestyle Rovers won 4-0 at home against Farnworth Boys. AFC Bolton won 7-0 away at Bolton Lads Club B and Bolton Lads Club A won 5-1 away at Bromley Cross.
In the Cubs Section Under 11s sides AFC Bolton A and B continued their 100 per cent record; both teams winning yet again their B team won 5-0 away at Dobbies with Smethurst grabbing a pair and their A team won a close game away at Horwich St Mary's 2-0 thanks to man of the match Aspinall who scored one with Walsh grabbing the other.
Breightmet Rovers were too strong for Farnworth Boys as they ran out easy 9-0 winners. Bolton Lads Club won 5-3 away at Westhoughton Rangers.
