BURY aim to bounce back from a rare defeat tomorrow with boss Stan Ternent insisting: "We must get back to winning ways," writes Neil Bonnar.

Kenny Jackett's Watford can expect a tough ride at Gigg Lane with the Shakers still licking their wounds after Wednesday night's 1-0 defeat at Millwall.

That result put the Londoners second top on the same points as Bury and Watford, giving extra spice to tomorrow's clash between the bookies' pre-season promotion favourites and Ternent's men who have been the surprise packet so far.

Ternent said: "We were all disappointed to lose at Millwall and we have got to return to winning.

"It is going to be a big test but they all are in this division where there are a lot of good teams. But that is what we have worked for and we would rather be playing the likes of Millwall and Watford than some of the smaller names in the division we were in last season."

Ternent will be without Gordon Armstrong while striker Ronnie Jepson has a late test on his hamstring strain.
