A BOLTON company has won a national training award.
Grosvenor Windows Ltd of Manchester Road won the Training Initiative category and reached the final of the Commercial Installer category of the Glassex Industry Awards.
The presentations were made at a gala dinner hosted by entertainer Jimmy Tarbuck at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane.
The Glassex Industry Awards were established to recognise and reward best practice in the the UK glass and window industries.
Grosvenor regards quality as the responsibility of all personnel and the judges recognised the commitment they have made to training in all aspects of the company's operations.
The company was presented with its award by Mr Peter Abbott, managing director of Veka plc, the category sponsors.
Grosvenor Windows was a finalist in the 1995 Glass & Glazing Products Awards and earlier this year the company won the small business section in the Training for Results category at the Bolton Business Awards dinner.
Managing Director Peter Mills is delighted to have won another award.
"The whole workforce deserves a pat on the back," he said.
"Our thanks also go to Veka, our systems supplier and Bolton Bury Training and Enterprise Council for their ongoing guidance and support."
