BOLTON and Bury Chamber of Commerce is the latest organisation to join the Bolton Town Centre Partnership.
The Partnership, which was established to attract visitors across a wide range of activities, is co-ordinated by the new Town Centre manager, Maria Appleton.
Founder members include Bolton Council, Crompton Place, Boots, Grosvenor Investments, The Market Place, Marks & Spencer, Whitakers of Bolton and the Bolton Evening News.
Each of the partners has a financial investment in the Partnership.
The Chamber's contribution is to plough back half of the town centre retailers' membership subscriptions into the Partnership - for promotional purposes.
Assistant Director Kay Gregson said: "The Chamber is very keen to continue its close association with town centre retail activities and this is an ideal opportunity to ensure that retailers' subscriptions are used to directly promote the town centre."
The Chamber is encouraging town centre retailers to join, take advantage of this special deal and have a say in matters which affect them directly.
"The Chamber will represent all its town centre retail members of the Board of the Town Centre Partnership," Kay said.
"We will regularly be seeking their views and opinions to ensure we reflect their interests."
The Chamber's number is 01204 526526.
