SIR: I feel that I must write regarding the shake up in the new Jobseekers Charter.
Each time that I go to sign at my local benefit office, I will feel (as I did this week) that I am being interrogated.
Do these people at the Job Centre not realise that the majority of us are stressed out enough without the added pressures enforced upon us by yet another set of Government rules?
I myself have recently been put on medication for stress, therefore, maybe a survey on unemployed people should be carried out to see just how many are on medication.
It would show just how much we suffer. After all, we are human beings, who have a desire to work without all this Government pressure.
My main point is that, if work was available, especially at decent rates of pay, most of us would work. So give us real jobs and make us proud to be working again. Don't give us pressure.
