COLIN Todd warned his players to expect a taste of their own medicine when they switch their sights back to the Division One promotion push at Barnsley on Friday.
The Burnden boss, delighting in his side's glorious Coca-Cola Cup triumph over Premier League Chelsea, insisted: "The most important thing now is to concentrate on Barnsley and that's going to be a hell of a game.
"We'll need the same level of commitment and quality that we showed last night because Barnsley will try to do the same to us as we did to Chelsea. Every team we meet from now on is going to play 20 per cent above themselves."
But Todd is confident he has all the qualities needed to keep Wanderers on the straight and narrow path to success.
After seeing Wanderers come from behind to win 2-1 with goals from strike stars John McGinlay and Nathan Blake, he looked forward to tonight's fourth round draw with relish, adding: "People talk about Wimbledon's team spirit but we have something special in our dressing room, a superb togetherness.
"Anybody coming here now has something to fear. All we can ask for is a home tie and we'd love another big club.
"We're not frightened of anybody."
Gerry Taggart has taken the first step towards a full international recall by being confirmed in the Northern Ireland squad for next month's World Cup qualifier against Germany in Nuremburg.
The titanic Wanderers defender, capped 35 times by his country, spent a frustrating afternoon on the subs bench earlier this month when the Irish were held to a 1-1 draw by Armenia in Belfast.
Simon Coleman, who has been made available for a loan transfer, lines up for the Reserves who return to Pontins League action at Birmingham tonight.
