TRADE opportunities in Germany - Britain's biggest export market - are on the menu at a lunchtime seminar in Bury Town Hall on Monday.
Bolton Bury Export Club's latest meeting will feature Mr John Phipps, a Department of Trade & Industry export promoter who has close links with Germany.
Mr Phipps, who has worked in the chemical, fibre and textile industry and has a degree in colour chemistry, has travelled the world as a management consultant.
He is a specialist in the marketing of capital goods in Germany, particularly by small and medium firms.
There will also be a case study at the seminar from Mr John Entwistle, managing director of British Turntable Ltd of Bolton, a major exporting firm.
Access to banking and related services will be explained by Barbara Hartree and Stephen Edwards, international services managers for Barclays Bank at Bury and Bolton respectively.
The Export Club is supported by Bolton Bury Training and Enterprise Council.
Further information is available from Neal Massey at the TEC on 01204 397350.
