BOLTON Institute gave a helping hand to the Bolton and District Hospital Saturday Council.
Final year HNC graphic art students produced impressive high quality designs.
Lecturer Michael Green is now suggesting that other local companies might like to put themselves forward for similar projects.
He said: "We are grateful to the Hospital Saturday Fund for presenting the students with a realistic design brief to tackle as their end of year assessments.
"There were numerous design issues which the students had to grasp."
Mr Peter Green, the Fund's chief executive, said they were a non profit making organisation and access to high-quality designs had been a real bonus.
These days they found themselves having to compete with other funds and commercial insurance companies for members within Bolton.
"While competition is good for our members, in that our optical and dental benefits have to be the best value for money, there is a danger that expensive publicity and marketing will affect the local hospitals which are traditionally supported by these funds," he said.
Peter Green added: "The design work undertaken by Bolton Institute students will ensure that we present a professional image to the several hundred local companies who provide payroll deduction facilities for employees without jeopardising the cash benefits we pay to our members and the local charitable donations we make."
