BOLTON songbird Paulette Clarke is making a name for herself in acting - 15 years after her drama training.
The Egerton-based clubland favourite has already had several walk-on parts in TV favourites like Coronation Street, Brookside and A Touch Of Frost. And she's now being put forward for speaking roles.
Paulette gained her acting qualifications at the London Guildhall and LAMDA, but has made her professional reputation as a singer and panto star.
She's a regular at Blackpool theatres and clubs, as well as a firm local favourite, and has been re-booked to entertain residents at the Last Drop Village at Bromley Cross at Christmas-time.
In her spare time, Paulette organises fund-raising shows for local organisations like Farnworth Junior Gateway, Bolton YMCA and the Salvation Army.
And this weekend, she's on Sky TV as part of Stuart's Hall of Fame.
"It sounds busy, but that's how I like to be," explained the bubbly Bolton blonde.
