BOLTON'S Peter Vaughan Williams is well versed in success, having had two of his poems accepted for publication by the International Society of Poetry.
One of his poems 'Model', received the Editor's Choice Award and has been published in the anthology 'Voices On The Wind'. Out of a total of almost 4,000 poems featured in the book, 'Model' was selected for special praise in the introductory notes of the editor, Joy Esterby. Peter's second poem, 'Body music' so impressed judges to the extent that Howard Ely, managing editor, has promised to publish it in the anthology, 'Awaken To A Dream', due early next year.
Peter, of Smithills Dean, has recorded his own album of 50 poems on audio cassette, entitled 'Poems On A Dragonfly's Wing'. His work, 'Body Music' is one of only 10 to be recorded by the International Library of Poetry on their proposed tape, 'The Sound of Poetry', which will be professionally narrated and accompanied by baroque music.
