SIR: I refer to the letter (Viewpoint, October 18) from Andy Downing "Does BWFC Care?"
I believe BWFC doesn't care enough. Having supported BWFC since 1957 I can honestly say BWFC has never ever replied to my various letters over the years, the last letter being about my withdrawal from Lifeline because they would not comment over the mock auctions at BWFC on a Sunday. Perhaps they don't know how important PR is.
Finally I have written various letters to other clubs who have all replied except Preston North End. I have recently had a reply from Kevin Keegan and Newcastle United. I didn't expect a reply because all I did was wish him well, after he recently said some kind things about BWFC. His letter was long and personal in reply signed by Kevin Keegan, not one of their pre-printed acknowledgements that I sometimes get. Kevin Keegan deserves success in my opinion, because he has such an honest face.
