BURY star defender Chris Lucketti may be out of Manchester City's plans for now - but he has not been forgotten by the Blues.
Maine Road boss Steve Coppell ruled out an immediate move for the rock solid 24-year-old he bid £500,000 when he was Crystal Palace boss 16 months ago.
But he is continuing to monitor his progress, sending ex-centre back Kevin Bond to run the rule over him during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Bristol Rovers, seven days after getting a report on his form from City scout Jimmy Frizzell.
Meanwhile, Bury boss Stan Ternent could be set to give on-loan Manchester United starlet John O'Kane a full debut at Wrexham tomorrow night after he capped an impressive 70-minute stint as substitute with the last minute winner on Saturday.
O'Kane will replace Lenny Johnrose if the all action midfielder fails to recover from a groin injury which forced him to limp out of their latest victory which continued Bury's promotion push.
