COLIN Todd today urged Wanderers to keep the Burnden fortress intact.

Wanderers aim to protect the formidable home record which has been the backbone of their scintillating start when they face Reading tomorrow night and Huddersfield Town four days later.

Todd, who has seen his side grab two points out of six with unconvincing displays at Charlton and Barnsley, said: "We've got two home games to come and it's imperative that we continue to show the consistency that we have been producing at Burnden Park.

"Consistency is the most important factor and while our performances have been very good at home so far, we have got to make sure they remain exactly the same."

Wanderers have dropped just two points out of a possible 21 at Burnden and the fans have responded in their numbers, guaranteeing another healthy crowd tomorrow night.

Wanderers have injury worries surrounding centre half Gerry Taggart, striker John McGinlay and biggest doubt Alan Thompson who took a nasty knock in Friday night's 2-2 draw at Barnsley.
