SIR: I wholeheartedly agree with the reader who had a firework pushed through his letterbox.
These irresponsible children and youths never stop to consider the harm and pain they may cause. Their only aim seems to be 'annoy and destroy'.
No sensible person would put a gun in the hands of a child so why give them dangerous explosives. It doesn't make sense. The days are past when children's activities were just fun, now they are lethal.
Modern fireworks are more dangerous than they were and it's time that they were made safe for all to enjoy at public displays only.
