A PIONEERING multi-media project needs cash to continue a Bolton link with Swedish counterparts.
Bolton College students have linked with fellow students in Sweden designing a CD ROM program, Working Together.
But the project is in jeopardy because of a lack of cash.
The co-operative venture was funded by the European Union and Bolton College's micro-electronics lecturer Peter Grimes said: "We had a very ambitious programme in terms of the time we had and we were unable to finish it off." The college has also applied for a video link-up with Sweden for improved communications for the project.
Students who travelled to Sweden experienced temperatures of minus 18 degrees while filming. Mr Grimes added: "It gave them an opportunity to experience a different culture and see how Swedes studying the same subjects compared." Anyone who can contribute should contact Martin Bush on 531411.
