I see the fields so green before me
The lark still gaily singing in the sky
And all the love God has surely sent me
Tells me that I must really try.
The flowers which lift their heads in gladness
And the sheep all grazing in the fields
Makes me wonder why there is so much sadness
When the love of God is so revealed
I see the sky a lovely blue above me
And children laughing by my side What more then can I ask,
But that God should be my guide
So day or night and all the time to be
The sun, moon and the stars above
There is only one God who can make us see,
For He has given us all his love. D Southall, Runnymede Court
