WANDERERS are looking for a new chief scout following the resignation of Ian McNeill, who was in his fifth year in the job.
The former Wigan Athletic and Shrewsbury Town manager left the club yesterday saying he was no longer getting job satisfaction and was considering retiring from football.
The Glasgow-born former inside forward, respected for his talent spotting, said: "I think my time at Bolton was good for both of us."
Now 64, he says he will consider his future, adding: "When people ask me how old I am I say I'm the same age as Bobby Robson - and he's managing Barcelona!"
