ATHERTON LR moved up to 16th in the Division One table following their fine away win.
Lee Cryer gave Rovers the lead on 69 minutes with substitute Dominic Hoyle crowning a fine debut when he knocked in the second in the last minute.
LR manager, Dave Morris, says: "It was a difficult game played in a strong wind and we defended well early on. It was certainly especially pleasing to keep a clean sheet."
