FOUR goats were killed and two badly mauled following an attack by two dogs at the weekend.
Brian Entwistle of Longsight Lane, Harwood, discovered the massacre in the field attached to his house on Saturday afternoon.
Mr Entwistle, who keeps goats as a hobby, said he heard barking but had not been disturbed as the land behind his house is popular with people walking their dogs.
But when the barking continued Mr Entwistle walked down to the small holding to investigate.
"I saw two dogs, who ran off as I approached.."
Mr Entwistle reported the killings to the police.
He describes the dogs that attacked his goats as a brown terrier and a greyish-brown lurcher.
