A FURIOUS grandmother has blasted Bolton's "greedy" sportswear shops.
Brenda Hindle says she paid above the recommended retail price for a pair of Manchester United shorts - to find they were on sale in a nearby shop for £3 cheaper.
The grandmother of six, busy preparing her long Christmas present list, said: "It's disgusting that shops can do this. I know it is legal but it is just morally wrong.
"It could mean the difference between children having a present they want and not."
Mrs Hindle, of Eden Street, Astley Bridge, added: "It's bad enough that these things cost so much money without greedy retailers banging up the price.
