ROBBERS brandishing a shotgun stole a large quantity of cash in a raid on a security firm.
Four masked robbers burst into Security Plus on Firsdale Industrial Estate in Leigh at 7.40pm, yesterday.
Members of staff are believed to have been in the premises at the time of the incident but were not injured.
The gun was not fired.
Leigh Police are calling for witnesses to come forward and have issued details about three vehicles used by the gang. It is believed they used a stolen Ford Transit mini-bus which was found at the scene.
A black Toyota Celica and a red Volvo 850 estate were also found abandoned shortly afterwards in Warrington Road, Abram, near Wigan.

Police would not reveal how much money was taken .
