A PENSIONER woke in terror early today to discover two thieves searching through cupboards in her bedroom.
The 60-year-old woman froze as the men ignored her and contained to search through the house in Thornbank South, Deane.
The two thieves eventually left with jewellery, watches, a handbag and purse. The men are believed to have forced their way into her home through a ground floor window at 5.15am.
The pensioner waited to make sure they had left before she raised the alarm.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the Thornbank area. Anyone with information should call 0161 872 5050.
