AS part of Allen Group Services Ltd's 50th anniversary fund raising activities, a four man team from the company, based in Chorley Road, Blackrod, completed the Krypton Factor course at Holcombe in aid of Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
The team raised £2,523 for the hospice and scooped the award for the most money collected by a team.
Acquisitions director Mike Greenhough also earned an award for the most money raised by an individual by collecting £1,790.
The double success on the assault course came alongside similar success when Allen Plc raised £8,000 from their 50th anniversary golf day, which attracted teams from businesses throughout the North West.
This boosted the previously publicised figure of £5,250, which has been topped up by generous supporters.
