THE TUC is in Bolton today to launch its poster campaign urging voters to think carefully about which party offers the best deal on workers' rights in the coming General Election.
Trade union campaigners were unveiling one of the TUC posters in the Town Hall Square in Bolton promoting its Workplace Agenda being launched nationwide.
The campaign is aimed at breaking down the cynicism felt by voters who feel there is no difference between the main political parties on the issue of employee rights.
A million pound campaign has been launched by the TUC involving huge posters, leaflets and a cinema advert urging people to vote. Unions say new government will have to take decisions after the the election that will affect the rights of seven million people who work in businesses employing fewer than 10 people.
Important decisions about holiday rights, the minimum wage and the social chapter will affect millions of other employees.
