KEITH Branagan has been voted top of the stops in the Nationwide League.
The Burnden keeper has been selected as the first recipient of the Nationwide Building Society's 'Save of the Month' award, which is launched this week and covers the first half of the season up to the end of January.
England goalkeeping legend Gordon Banks made the choice from saves seen on Sky TV and selected Branagan's stunner - ironically against tomorrow's opponents Sheffield United - when he kept out Petr Katchouro's shot in the 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane in November.
Branagan will be presented with the award by Wanderers' fan Andy Aldersley from Little Lever, whose correct entry was the first to be drawn out of the bag by the competition organisers.
