BURY have allowed frustrated midfielder Tony Rigby to go out on loan to Third Division Scarborough.
Shakers boss Stan Ternent explained: "Tony wants first team football but I'm not in a position to guarantee that to anyone.
"We've agreed to let him go to Scarborough for a month to sharpen him up and it should benefit him. But while we've agreed to let him go we're not in a position to let too many go."
Bury's system of play requires only two hardworking midfield players with the outstanding partnership of Nick Daws and Lenny Johnrose holding a monopoly on the roles this season.
They also have Ian Hughes who, along with Rigby, has been frustrated with his lack of first team action this season while summer signing Gordon Armstrong's imput has been restricted through injury.
Bury travel to Plymouth Argyle tomorrow aiming to strengthen their Division Two promotion challenge with a third successive league victory.
Ronnie Jepson is challenging for a return up front with David Johnson likely to step back to the substitutes bench despite his lively show in the midweek Auto Windscreens Shield defeat by Stockport.
