MEMBERS of the public will have the chance to voice their concerns about the new incinerator at Royal Bolton Hospital.
A public meeting is to be held at the hospital's Education Centre lecture theatre on Tuesday, February 25, at 6.30pm.
It is organised by the Incinerator Joint Liaison Committee, which includes representatives of local residents' associations and organisations which operate and monitor the incinerator.
Dr Robert Aston, the committee's chairman, said: "This will be a chance for the public to meet members of the Joint Liaison Committee and to discuss any concerns they might have about the operation and safety of the incinerator."
To help with the smooth running of the meeting, the organisers have asked that questions be sent in writing, in advance, to the hospital at the following address by Friday, February 21:
The Royal Bolton Hospital, BHE Services Department, Minerva Road, Farnworth, Bolton.
Any local residents who want to attend the meeting should call Bolton 390871.
