BUSINESSES in Boothstown are being urged to dig deep to support their town festival being staged on June 15.
The festival has raised more than £40,000 for local charities and groups since it started 10 years ago.
Now the local community are being urged to sponsor the Boothstown Festival.
The festival attracts more than 7,000 people to the annual parade and sponsors will be given a free advert in the programme booklet, a free float in the parade and a free stand on the festival field.
Pubs and breweries will also have the option of a beer tent at the festivities.
Organisers say if no main sponsor comes forward then they will be forced to split the event between two or more co-sponsors.
Anyone who is interested should contact Martin Lane, festival committee chairman, on 0161-702-8633.
