REEBOK are considering cementing their long-standing link with Wanderers in the form of a major sponsorship deal at the new stadium.
But the multi-national sportswear company say it is "pure speculation" to suggest that Wanderers will be playing at The REEBOK Stadium next season.
One report this week suggested the company was ready to put their name to the stadium - a deal that could top the million pound mark. But a spokesman for REEBOK, who are Wanderers' main sponsors, described that as "premature".
Nevertheless they are currently considering an approach from Wanderers to endorse either the main stand or the entire stadium and a decision could be announced soon.
The spokesman explained: "The club has sent out letters inviting businesses to become involved in the new stadium and, of course, we are interested and are considering our position.
"We are heavily involved with the club and have a contract to be the main sponsors into the next century.
"We are aware of the various letters that have appeared in the Bolton Evening News suggesting our name should be put to the stadium and it would seem like an obvious choice for us to be involved. But at this stage it's too early to say, one way or the other."
