SIR: I wonder if you could help me trace the whereabouts of a lady.

I am a Boltonian myself but left there in 1948. I had contact with this lady, perhaps only once or twice a year, and then no word for a couple of years, but to my surprise a Christmas card last December.

I have written to her old address but had the letter returned. As she must be in her 80s, perhaps she is in care.

She is Mrs Nora Maylor (Feather), previous address 18 Dorset Street. She once had a milliner's shop in The Haulgh many years ago and even before that she was a teacher.

I would love to be able to contact her and wait to hear from you.
