YOUNG illustrator Michael Robinson will see his work displayed in a major exhibition in London.
Michael, a former Turton High School pupil, entered the Young Cartoonist of the Year award with his Channel Tunnel spoof.
Although Michael, 24, did not receive an award his work was praised by the judges.
The awards presentation will take place at Simpson's-in-the-Strand on February 27, the venue, also, for the exhibition.
Michael, who lives with his parents, Mike and Kath, in Edgworth, is a freelance illustrator with a keen interest in cartoons. His work can be recognised by his signature, Dogger, which is a nickname he was given at primary school.
Michael said: "It is well worth entering the competition because it often brings some work in. I entered last year and found it very helpful to my work."
