SIR: Housing chiefs say they are planning to get tough on nuisance neighbours who cause misery on council estates.

What about nuisance 'council tenants' living in once quiet residential streets. because of the council paying landlords up to £80 a week for mostly run down terraces.

Judging by police and domestic activities at some of these houses it leads me to believe these tenants could well have been already removed from council estates.

Where do these evicted council tenants go?

Why should the council be renting so many houses when so many of their own are increasingly being boarded up?

Why should the council tax payments of an area be more than swallowed up by neighbours rent and other benefits?

What gives the council the right to inflict these neighbours from hell upon us?
