TYLDESLEY enjoyed a successful trip to East Cumbria to take on Upper Eden.
The home side were first to score with a penalty before the Well Street Boys rallied with skipper Dave Sivill breaking away to send a neat pass inside to Lee West who powered his way over.
Straight from the restart the ball was passed out to Simon Adams who weaved his way under the posts, both tries where converted by Sivill.
The home side could not match Tyldesley in the loose and a flowing movement from another lineout dominated by Craig Shotton saw Steve Palin go over.
Upper Eden capitalised on a rare Tyldesley error and with the conversion they found themselves back in the game at half-time at 19-10 down.
With their new found confidence Upper Eden then suckered Tyldesley with two tries before once again the visitors combined skill and hard work to camp in the Upper Eden half.
Lee Cunliffe went over and Sivill won a kick and chase to touch down and, along with a long range penalty, the game was won.
Tyldesley second team proved to strong for Holmes Chapel in a 52-7 victory. Tyldesley thirds went down in a close match to Ormskirk.
