SIR: I felt so sorry when reading 'Concerned daughter' BEN Tuesday April 8. I have spondylitis and arthritis but I live in sheltered accommodation. The number of "disabled cars" under my window every day of the week is appalling. The drivers have to walk to the market or town centre which is over the 50 yard disabled length to qualify for the allowance. They return carrying shopping bags full with their walking aids on their arms. So I should advise this lady to claim again.
