FOUR local golfers helped Lancashire 'B' to a 12-6 victory over Cheshire at Stand.
In the singles Gareth Hastie (Dunscar) crushed Marcus Stam (Royal Liverpool) 6 and 5, Andy Runciman (Deane) edged home 2 and 1 over David Charlton (Brackenwood), while Tim Pennington (Bury) had an incredible 8 and 6 winning margin over Graham Cox (Warrington). Steve Parry (Deane) went down 6 and 4 to James Murphy (Shrigley Hall).
In the foursomes Parry and Hastie lost their match 5 and 4, while Runciman playing with Jacob Murphy (Manchester) also went down by one hole, but Pennington and L Slattery (Hesketh) won one up.
