TWO thugs ganged up on an 84-year-old man at a bus stop - and stole a wallet from his coat pocket.
One of the thieves stood on the pensioner's right foot to stop him moving, while the other forcibly removed the wallet containing cash and personal items worth £80. The robbery happened on Monday at 2.15pm, at Bolton's Moor Lane Bus Station.
The elderly man suffered shock, an injury to his right leg and bruising to his foot.
Detectives are searching for the two men, who are both white. One is described as being 5ft 8in, with short brown hair, a dirty "bad" skin and staring eyes. He was wearing a black coat.
Anyone able to help track the thieves down is asked to telephone Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
