MARK Penny became one of the Bolton Association's youngest first team cricketers when he turned out for Little Hulton on Saturday.

The 14-year-old helped his side to a win over Spring View after hitting 22 not out off 18 balls in an unbeaten half century stand with his skipper Mike Edwards.

Little Hulton played the match without a professional. Pakistan spinner Lalsaraz Khan has not yet arrived but the club is confident he will be here in time for next week's game against Astley and Tyldesley.
