LEIGH winger Dean Purtill is setting the league alight with his scoring feats.

A hat-trick of tries and eight goals from 10 shots at Doncaster yesterday brought the points ace a personal tally of 28.

Purtill's treble boosted his season's tally to 16 and took him to the top of the try-scoring chart, one ahead of St Helens' flyer Alan Hunte.

The former Wigan St Pat's amateur is also the country's top points scorer with 182 from his 16 tries and 59 goals.

Hull KR full-back Mike Fletcher is the League's top goal kicker with 61 successes.
