AN all-night party at a student house in Bolton ended in disaster at the weekend.
At 5.55 on Sunday morning firefighters from Bolton Central were called to a rented house on Bury Road, Bolton.
Two students who were renting the house and group of friends were standing outside as fire raged in an upstairs bedroom.
The fire destroyed the contents of the bedroom and caused extensive damage to the rest of the first floor.
The cause of the blaze is still being investigated but no-one was injured and all six people who were in the house when the fire was discovered escaped without injury.
Sub Officer Vinnie Redfoird, said:"It would seem there was a bit of a party going on at the time but fortunately everyone in the house managed to get out.
"We are still investigating the cause of the fire which started in a room which no-one was in when the blaze was discovered," he added.
