SIR: Until recently, I was living in Bolton and working for Greater Manchester Ambulance Service as a Paramedic. In mid-January, I was called up for Operational Service by the MOD as a Reservist to be employed as a Medic at an ambulance station in Bosnia/Croatia. I resigned from GMAS for this and other reasons and would like a note put in the BEN to my friends and colleagues in the Bolton Group and throughout the Service just to express my regret at not being able to see them before I left and also to say that they are constantly in my thoughts.
I am part of a six-man team covering the border of Croatia and Bosnia as medical personnel for the area,
If anyone would like to write to me and my colleagues here in Kamensko as a penpal, then we would be pleased to hear from them (preferably female penpals!).
