WALSHAW Sports put a dent in Bolton County's hopes of doing the double with a 3-1 victory in the semi-final of the Bolton Boys' Federation under-16s Jubilee Cup.

Goals from Adam Howarth, Kieron Delaney and Carl Lomax sealed the victory and gave them a place in the final, where they will play Pennington who beat second placed Deans Youth 3-2, P. Crompton, Matt Unsworth and a D. Meakin penalty earning victory.

In the Under-18s B section Andy Morris was the hat-trick hero as Blackmoor HF clinched the championship in style with a 4-0 victory at Atherton LR.

The Under-15s B section championship was sealed by Fife Rangers in their first season after they won a hard fought game against Blackmoor HF 3-2, Adam Barnett, David Spence and Stephen Cowell hitting the target for the champions.

Gavin Banks struck four as AFC Bolton stormed to a 9-1 victory over Westhoughton Rangers that left them in contention for the Under-14s title. Aron Collier added a hat-trick and Chris Dacy scored another two.

Bromley Cross were also big winners with a thrashing of Great Lever Boys in which A. Kelly grabbed a hat-trick and M. Ajtar, T. Greencill, A. Donner and N. Luke grabbed two apiece.

Bolton Lads Club A cruised to a 5-0 victory in the Under-12s Jubilee Cup semi-final over Bromley Cross, Whaley scoring two while in the Under-12s League Farnworth Boys had a fine 7-1 midweek victory over Westhoughton Rangers in which Brooks grabbed a hat-trick and Pulvino and Jones added two each.

A five-goal haul by Grimshaw strengthened Bolton Lads Club A's hopes of landing the Under-12s title, his team running out formidable 9-0 midweek winners over St Elizabeth's.
