BOLTON education bosses have secured cash to improve their knowledge base of the borough's primary and special schools.
In February, the Government asked councils to bid for cash in the School Self Improvement pot. Last month, Bolton was awarded £26,000 and this was topped up by £14,000 of council money.
Under the scheme, data from primary and special schools, including pupil details, assessments and test results, will be collated for future use by the authority.
