MORRIS dancers from all over Lancashire will gather in Horwich on Saturday in celebration of St George's Day.
More than 100 dancers and musicians will be taking part in the annual event, to dance in procession through the streets and at various points around the town.
The event is organised by Horwich Prize Medal Morris Men. There will be ten Morris teams from Bacup, Chorley, Leyland, Manchester, Mossley, Rumworth of Bolton, Saddleworth, Wrigley Head and Horwich. The procession sets off from the Toll Bar, Chorley New Road at 10.15am, along Chorley New Road, Winter Hey Lane, Church Street as far as Wood Street and back down Church Street to Lee Lane. Returning to the Toll Bar at about 3pm.
