WHITE Horse (Kearsley) are on the brink of the Bolton Sunday League Division Two title after their 3-1 win over rivals Farnworth and Kearsley Labour Club.
White Horse's goals came from Alex Wardle, Neil Blower and Steve Wolstenholme with Danny Shaw replying for Farnworth.
Rob Smith was the four-goal star of second placed Bradford Arms' 8-1 thrashing of Saddle with Eric Egerton adding another two.
Dooley was on target for Moses Gate but his team lost 3-1 to M and AB Pineapple. Roy Partington, Nigel Ratcliffe, Paul Mayhew and Standish all scored for Market Street Tavern who beat Brightmill Chemicals 5-3. Hulme scored two with Drinnon and Tatlock each getting one as Hare and Hounds (Stoneclough) beat Clifton Rangers 4-2 while FC Lowton and Monteraze fought out a 3-3 draw.
In the Premier Division goals from Kirkman and Morris helped Lostock Arms to a well earned 2-2 draw with Tonge Fold. Goals from Greg Dimery, John McCabe and Rob Clews were enough for Bulls Head to beat Rawson Rangers 3-1.
Stuart Battle hit a hat-trick in Derby Street Glass's 3-2 victory over Robin Hood while Holt went one better with four as Chetham Arms hammered Northfield 5-0. Astley Bridge remain second after beating Darcy Lever 5-4.
In Division Three Aerospace can start to celebrate as only a miracle can prevent them taking the title after a 6-4 win over Allboro in which Smiley grabbed three and Lomax added two, McAteer replying with two. Second placed Arkwrights won 1-0 at Fannys with Coach and Horses winning 3-2 at Sparking Clog.
