SUPPORTERS from Mount St Joseph RC School bagged a tasty prize after cheering on England's Under 15 football team.
The youngsters at the Farnworth school were supporting Gareth Strange, their schoolmate and under 15 player when they won £400 worth of crisps!
Judges in a banner competition organised by England Under 15s sponsors Walkers Crisps awarded the youngsters second prize for their pennant supporting 15-year-old Gareth.
England Under 15s were playing France at Old Trafford in the English Schools Football Competition, Walkers Crisps Challenge Cup.
The next match was held last night at Nottingham Forest FC when England took on Scotland.
Next Wednesday Gareth and the England team will play in Switzerland in the competition.
Gareth, a centre back, has coached at Manchester United since he was nine and has since signed schoolboy forms.
