FORMER pupils of the Coronation class of 1937 at Queen Street School are being urged to get in touch with Farnworth woman Mrs Joyce Holt (or Colley as she was known then).
Joyce, aged 64, has been inspired to get in touch after she received this photograph from former school friend Joyce Williams who now lives in Australia.
Mrs Williams joined Queen Street school as an evacuee during World War Two and became good friends with Joyce. "We were all aged four or five when the picture was taken. I know where some of them are, some of them are still around here now, but I'd love to find out what's happened to the others."
